Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experience. As an employee, you can earn a salary, get paid holidays and receive other job related training opportunities as you learn and you gain practical skills from the workplace. All courses are full-time and are comprised of work placement and day release. You gain your qualification through continuous assessment and portfolio building.
The programme is work-based for 16 to 18 year old, that need training with experience within the work place.
You will also be required to sit an initial assessment and attend an interview to demonstrate commitment and ability to complete the programme.
Apprenticeships are aimed at 16-18 year olds, but there are a number of places on these courses for 19-60 year olds. There are also apprenticeship places for adults.
To join the programme, you need to have gained at least a "D" grade at GCSE or equivalent in both English and Maths. | ||
