Level 2 Certificate in Employability Skills

Aims

This qualification is aimed at candidates who are either seeking employment or would like to become more effective in the workplace. The EDI Level 2 Certificate in Employability Skills covers the transferable skills necessary within the job market and are not specific to any particular sector or point of responsibility.

Structure of the qualification

The EDI Level 2 Certificate in Employability Skills will be awarded to candidates who successfully complete the learning outcomes and assessments for the following compulsory unit:

• Unit 1: Employability Skills

Objectives

The course enables candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of:

• How to achieve personal effectiveness and success at work
• The effectiveness of personal communication skills
• Developing team skills and positive working relationships
• Working to maintain safety and security in the workplace
